Common Angiography Positions of Right Coronary Artery
The right coronary artery has few branches, so the projection position is relatively simple. There are two conventional contrast positions when making interventional surgery by applying medical digital subtraction angiography system:
1. Left anterior oblique (LAO) 45°
It can fully display the head and body of the right coronary artery. The right coronary artery is "C" shaped. It mainly observes the opening of the right coronary artery (RCA), its origin and the posterior descending artery (PDA). It is one of the most important positions of observing the right coronary artery.

2. Head position: positive position (AP) + head position (CRA) 20°
The right coronary artery is "L" shaped, and the distal branch of the right coronary artery (RCA) and its opening are mainly observed.
