The Multi-Center Live Broadcast in Interventional Robotics Redefines The Future Of Interventional Surgery
WeMed Medical made a stunning debut with a series of live surgical broadcasts across four cities-Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, Fuwai Hospital, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University, and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University-performing four highly complex PCI surgeries live in a single session. This was not only an academic demonstration but also a milestone moment, marking the official entry of domestically developed interventional robots into a period of rapid commercial growth.
During this CIT live broadcast, none of the four experts wore heavy lead aprons or protective suits, as they completed high-precision surgeries directly from the operating table.

At Tongji Hospital in Wuhan, Professor Zeng Hesong's team used the WeMed interventional robot to complete a circumflex artery lesion case. At Fuwai Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Professor Song Lei's team tackled an anterior descending artery ostium lesion. At the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University, Professor Liu Bingchen's team took on an anterior descending artery lesion. At the Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University, Professor Chen Tao's team successfully completed a diffuse lesion at the anterior descending artery ostium.

From Northeast to Central China, and from North to East China, the four major centers were fully covered. The interventional robot delivered a perfect performance with zero errors, truly demonstrating its stability, safety, and clinical value.
