Challenging CTO Intervention Assisted By The ETcath200

Professor Zeng Hesong's team from the Department of Cardiology, Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, has completed the third domestic interventional robot-assisted CTO interventional procedure.

Clinical Challenge:
This case involved a CTO of the LAD. The proximal segment leading to the occlusion was markedly angulated and tortuous. A large first diagonal branch (D1) adjacent to the occlusion had severe ostial stenosis.
Procedural Challenge:
The procedure required successful CTO recanalization while simultaneously protecting the important side branch, placing greater demands on procedural precision.
