The Main Treatments For Neuro-interventional Surgery

According to the different surgical methods used in the treatment of vascular disease types under the guidance of medical digital subtraction angiography system. The neuro-interventional therapy can be divided into:

1. Interventional embolization: use a microcatheter to send coils into the aneurysm to fill the aneurysm and prevent the rupture of the aneurysm. It is mainly used to treat intracranial aneurysms

2. Stent placement: It is a treatment method that puts artificial stents into narrow blood vessels to achieve the purpose of blood vessel recanalization, and treats narrowed blood vessels in the neck and brain.

3. Arterial thrombolysis: Inject thrombolytic drugs into occluded blood vessels through a microcatheter to achieve thrombolysis and blood flow recanalization. For patients with acute cerebral infarction within 24 hours, it can improve the symptoms of cerebral ischemia.

4. Mechanical thrombectomy: refers to the use of special equipment to remove intravascular thrombus and recanalize the blood flow, mainly used to treat acute cerebral infarction

5. Balloon dilatation and stent formation: the use of microballoons to dilate diseased blood vessels and put them into stents to recanalize the blood vessels, which can treat venous sinus thrombosis.
