The Components of Medical Angiography X-ray System
X-ray Generation System
1.High-voltage generator: using intermediate frequency or high-frequency technology, controlled by a microprocessor, to generate stable high voltage, capable of rapid exposure in a variety of pulse methods, and the imaging speed can be as high as 150 frames per second.
2. X-ray tube: can withstand the load of continuous pulse exposure.
Gantry System
1. The longitudinal and lateral movement range of the catheter bed should be large enough, and it can be rotated left and right to increase the movement space and facilitate the positioning and rescue of the patient.
2. The rack has a suspended rail type and a floor-mounted fixed type. At present, there is a DSA system with no rail, no fixed axis, and free movement.
Image system
Image system composed of flat panel displays: Since flat panel displays are the core component of the image system, its performance is directly related to image quality and radiation dose efficiency.
1. The quantum detection efficiency value continues to increase, reaching 77% (up to 71% during fluoroscopy);
2. A pixel size of about 200μm is enough to meet the spatial resolution of 1024×1024;
3. Bandwidth refers to the corresponding relationship between the unit pixel and the AD converter. Each row or column of the broadband panel is connected with an AD converter to enable the data to be transmitted specifically and efficiently, while the narrowband panel has 120 rows (columns). Pixels share an AD converter, and data can only be packaged and transmitted;
4. Dynamic range: FPD (Flat Panel Display) has a big difference in dynamic range. The maximum dynamic range value can reach 4nGy-13mGy.
Data acquisition and storage system
Large-capacity real-time image storage generally adopts dynamic storage, which must be transmitted through the video bus and used for reading and writing control with a computer bus interface, and the image transfer between the frame memory and the hard disk must be realized.
Computer system
The computer is mainly used for control and image post-processing in the DSA system.
