How DSA Works

The basic principle of DSA imaging is to divide the angiographic X-ray fluorescence images of the examined part without the injection of contrast agent and after injection of the contrast agent, respectively, after gaining by the image intensifier, and then scanning with a high-resolution TV camera tube to divide the image into Many small squares are made into a matrix to form a video image composed of pixels in the small squares. After logarithmic amplification and analog/digital conversion, the digital images are formed and stored separately, and then input The electronic computer processes and subtracts the digital information of the two images, and the difference signals of different values are obtained, which are then converted into ordinary analog signals by contrast enhancement and digital/analog conversion. The bones, muscles and other soft tissues are removed, leaving only The subtraction image of the simple blood vessel image is displayed on the monitor.

The image processed by DSA makes the image of the blood vessel clearer and safer during interventional surgery.
